Merry Christmas Testimony ʻOhana!

Today we celebrate the birth of our Savior—Jesus Christ. Christmas is a time to reflect with gratitude on all God has done for us, and at the same time, it’s a day to look forward with hope and expectation for all the Lord will do. Each year, as we celebrate His first advent, we’re reminded: He will come again to make all things new.

As I look back on this year at The Testimony, I’m filled with gratitude. We’ve seen the Lord move in powerful ways—miraculous healings, lives transformed, and a growing hunger for His presence. We’ve celebrated baptisms and testimonies that remind us: God is not distant—He is active and near.

And I believe this year has been more than something to celebrate.
It’s been a foundation.

As we step into the new year, I believe the Lord is anchoring our church in one central reality: the grandeur of God. As His greatness is revealed among us, everything else comes into focus. Our worship deepens. Our faith rises. Our unity strengthens. And our mission becomes clearer. We are being shaped to steward His presence—not just experience it.

So whether today finds you full of joy or carrying quiet pain, let this truth steady your heart: God is faithful.
If you’re celebrating, rejoice—He is good.
If you’re grieving, be comforted—He is near.
If you’re waiting, be encouraged—He is working.

And as we look ahead, let’s respond with faith. Scripture says:

“Fan into flame the gift of God… for the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline.”
(2 Timothy 1:6–7)

Church, let’s enter this next year abiding deeply, living boldly, and carrying the hope of Christ into our city—because the God who came near in Bethlehem is still near today, and He is not finished with us.

At Christmas, we celebrate more than a moment in history—we celebrate a miracle that changes everyday life. In “The Miracle of God With Us,” we explore how our deepest longings for hope, peace, joy, love, and belonging were never meant to be rare or unreachable, but part of God’s design for life with Him. Through Matthew 1 and Isaiah 9, we see Jesus not only as Savior, but as Immanuel—God with us—revealing both His mission and His nature. This message invites us to stop striving for what we cannot find on our own and instead receive the greatest gift of all: Heaven coming to earth so that Heaven can live in us.
